2016 Legislative Session – Day 10

The Appropriations Committee held public hearings on six bills today. Substitute House Bill 1725 which concerns a consumer’s right to assign hours to individual providers and the department of social and health services’ authority to establish criteria regarding the payment of individual providers.

Substitute House Bill 1900 related to school counselors, social workers, and psychologists.

House Bill 2298 addresses survivor benefits from the public employees’ retirement system for survivors of members in registered domestic partnerships prior to December 2012.

House Bill 2366 relates to basic education obligations.

House Bill 2698 delays the implementation of revisions to the school levy lid and local effort assistance.

The committee may also take action on any number of six bills.
